Have you eliminated variables in your living environment ie: some air freshener/bug spray/flea medication/cleaning agent? Any discoloration from seals of tank? Have you bleached the tank between crashes? As your moving eliminates variables of LFS and tap, two of the things left are the tank itself and your environment. These are just troubleshooting thoughts of unlikely causes, because it seems you've exhausted likely causes. HTH
