Stocking a 55 gallon

I was wondering what are some good stocking options for a 55g. I haven't gotten the tank yet but i know ill get one soon (1-2 weeks), and i was kinda wanting to get some bolivian rams or german blue rams. Any ideas?

I am always a huge fan of angels too. They typically do well with rams because they occupy different areas of the tank.
There are TONS of options out there though. If you like rams, go for it!
There are also gouramis, dozens of awesome tetras, danios, rasboras. There are other dwarf cichlids, African cichlids, a few oddballs, algae eaters of all sorts, catfish, and many more! Any more specificiations about what you like?

No barbs, i have plenty in my 20g. So thanks for the input
