Stocking New 38 Gallon Tank

Ok, now I know that my tank is 40" Long 18" Tall and 12" Wide. I'm pretty sure these are the dimensions of a 38 gallon tank. I have done a lot of work and some of you saw the old pictures of the tank. I have attached a pic of the new tank after cleanup, new Tetra 40 gallon filter, new Aqueon lights and hoods, new background and decor. After the tank cycles I want to put 5 Boesemani Rainbow fish in there. Are there some other tank mate suggestions? Thanks
