Okay after having a heart attack thinking the dreaded ich was back (my silly cories had been digging in their pellets and covered in food!) I noticed my guppies have got a greeny/silver shimmery colour to them and my cories have bits of shiny on them too.
Anyone know if this is normal and I'm just being paranoid??
All fish are acting fine, temp is 86, pH 7.6 ammo 0 nitrites 0 nitrates 20

I think you are ok. My guppies and endlers had shiny color that you could only see when light reflected off it. The cories are probably fine. What kind? Also Im not sure but I think that 20 ppm on nitrates is the max you are supposed to have. But I could be totally wrong so wait for someone else to answer that.

Thanks I know the nitrates are up I've done a 25% pwc ad will check again tomorrow. As I said all fish are acting normal and seem quite happy even with the higher temp! I'll feel a bit bad when I drop it back down to normal! :D
