Hey Guys,

i just setup my 14g Tank, and its cycling is now complete
my temp in tank is 76 without light on, and 78.5 with light on.
is my tank warm enough for freshwater fish? and can i purchase
a (small) striped raphael catfish for my size tank???

please let me know.
Thank You, -Nick

Thanks, Misslieman

also, which, type of cleaner fish could i put into my tank?
and how many fish can i put into my 14g tank?

You can probably get by with a Bristlenose Pleco, they get between 4 and 5 inches, do a good job on algae and love veggies.
As for how many fish a general rule is 1" of fish per gallon but use adult size to calculate.
I rule out the other cat even though it is below the 14" general limit because of the physical size of your tank. A fish that big, although your bio-load may handle it, will not have enough room to even turn around.

A few otos is also an idea. One thing to consider before adding "cleaner fish" is whether you have algae, and that (being largely herbivores) they are messy fish. IMO, they aren't necessary for any tank, especially a newly set up one.
