Stripping paint off tank

So I just bought a 75 [acronym:eec1e16f4d="Gallon"]gal[/acronym:eec1e16f4d] and the previous owner painted the back and one of the sides with blue paint. I'd like to strip it off and was hoping someone might have some advice so that I don't end up poisoning the fish that will eventually go in the tank. [acronym:eec1e16f4d="Thanks in Advance"]TIA[/acronym:eec1e16f4d]!

Have you tried using a razor blade? It may scratch the glass if you're not careful though. That's the only thing that I can think of offhand without using chemicals. But hopefully someone will chime in.

Great. I will try razor blades, then. That was my initial idea, but was worried about scratches. Wow, I think I'll be done in about a week. lol Wish me luck! And thanks again.
