Hello everyone, I have had my 40 gallon breeder tank running for about six months now. Today I was doing a water change and before I started I unplugged my filter like I always do. I then filled the tank back up with new water but when I plugged in my filter it was making all sorts of noise. This has never happened. It sounds like a combination of bubbling and humming. I have no idea why it is doing this. I proceeded to clean my whole filter and when I plugged it back in it continued to make the noise.
Does anyone know what the problem is? The filter used to be silent.
I'm afraid that if I keep running it, it will break. But I obviously need to keep the filter running so I don't know what to do.
