So I have two tanks, one is a 10 gal(which has 4 kuhli loaches) and the other is a 20 gal(which has 4 black skirt tetras, a swordtail, a SA bumblebee catfish, a bristlenose pleco, and a Bolivian ram.) I was wondering if placing one species of fish from the 20 gal to the 10 gal would be a good idea because over stocking and conflict over food might be an issue. Help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I think all the species in your 20 are too big to go in your 10 or are not compatible with the loaches :/ you could look into some nano species to add to your 10g if you're looking for some top/mid level movement though.

Okay thanks but I'm still wondering if this is overstocking the 20 gal.

Well other than the ram the other to species should be in a larger tank. I am not sure if it's overstocked but rather the fish would be happier in a larger tank.
