Does anyone have experince with large groups of male swordtails? Ive seen similar questions, but this might have a twist, n that they would be with cental cichlids. Im wondering would they be chill with no females present if there were say 5 or 6.
Other fish would include rainbow and possibly blue eye cichlid. Also at least 1 bristle nose, maybe 2.
Tank size is 90 g.

Livebearers are generally fine when kept in single gender groups. Be aware tho that if you are going to keep all male swords, should you get say, Platies or Mollies or any other livebearer, to mix in there, that they too are all males or you will likely have issues. While they may not be able to successfully reproduce with all other livebearers, their presence can be enough to start the fighting.
Make sure they are also big enough to handle themselves with whatever cichlids you plan on having. They usually are not a good tankmate for most cichlids.

Hope this helps (y)

No, they would be the only live bearer in the tank. I was just using them as a primary topswimmer.
Cichlids are previously listed rainbow cichlid, im currently considering second type, hopefully the same region. Maybe tbar?
