swortail ?

hi, i have a male swortail with a huge tummy all of the sudden. is it some kind of bacterial infection? i have a 30 gallon tank with an angelfish, a zebra danio, 1 fantail. and the swordtail. all pretty small still. the tank is 4 months old.

How sudden, are his scales pointing out like a pine cone?

It could be the first signs of dropsey or he could just be a greedy pig. If his scales are sticking out that is normally one of the last signs of dropsey.
