Tank/advice for an African Clawed frog

Hi everyone, I'm a new person here and looking for some advice. Our family is considering getting an African Clawed frog and although I have researched a lot about these little guys, I would very much welcome any advice, comments or shared experiences from other members who have/had ACF's. Would love to see photos too

We are looking at getting a hexagonal 35 gallon tank on a stand. I understand that they need no more than 12 inches of water in order to breathe oxygen at the surface. Would this tank be suitable?

The one thing u have to watch acf's get really big (the size of grape fruits) so if u plain on having fish he will eat what fits in his big mouth lol they will also get out unless u have a secure lid-other than that tank size is great anything else just holler ttyl
