The water in one of my tanks keeps turning a very dingy brown... when I do a pwc is clears up and looks pretty clear and then it starts looking dingy again? What can I do to clear this up... if anything? I boiled my driftwood and let it soak to try to prevent that from being a problem... I think it did stain some of my decorations though! I have an aquaclear 70 on the tank, it's a 44 gallon corner pentagon with no fish yet!

I let my drift wool soak for a week. Changing out the water whenever it was brown. Some drift wood is word at releasing the tannis than others though. The tannins isn't bad for your tank and will go away with water changes ( as you know) I think carbon helps but im not sure

I was thinking it might be the driftwood causing it... I'll just be patient! :) Thank you guys!
