Tank Emergency, Need help!

My niece accidently touch my glad canopy and light fixture. They both fell in the tank. The light was plugged in. I know the fixture and bulbs are garbage. My question is how long can the plants last without the lights?
So far the fish look fine. And there are no cracks in the glass.

you should be fine for a couple of days i never had a problem like when i wen out of town
