Tank full of snails

Can a 55 sustain 200 apple/mts snails? Also do snails eat their young?

Snails don't eat their young except maybe assassin snails. Probably not though. A 55G can sustain any number of snails But just don't let it overpopulate. A 55G can handle any number of snails, I have around 100 in my 10G.........just get some assassin snails to control the populations

Do you want to get rid of them?

Haha thanks just curious does anyone remove the snail shell after the snail has passed? I know this sounds pretty malicious, but my fish love to eat the body. The shell kind of makes a cool decoration as well even if it sounds a little weird.
