Please help. I have been turning my light off at night and I don't know if this is ok. When I get up in the morning and turn the light back on the fish are docile.

You should invest in a timer for the lights so there's a normal consistent time they're on for the fish. A good amount of time is 8 to 10 hours. Less if you're light is really bright and you're getting algae.

From 12am to 11pm is ok for low light planted tank?

I have my lights on from around 8am to 8pm, and everything seems to be working out. The plants are getting the light they need, and the fish seem fine.

When i first turn on the lights in the morning, a lot of the fish are a bit docile, and the Rummynose Tetras aren't so colourful. That changes within a few minutes.
