As for ghost shrimp, while not as colorful they are fun. I always have a few around, mainly because I use them to feed my puffers. If you do go with them, I've found you can see them better on darker substrate.

I never thought of getting fish shipped. I'm getting red eyed tree frogs shipped so why not try fish
