I have read on here that it is very important to have a strong buffer in water parameters to retain ph (prevent ph crashing). My tap water is super hard, 8.2 ph. If I keep tropical fish that usually prefer a ph of 7.5 or so, would it be wise to do a 50/50 RO/Tap mix? Of course the tap portion will always be dechlorinated, and I usually add a little bit of conditioning salt. My RO water is @ 6.8 ph. Please let me know your thoughts on this and please give me any suggestions (Maybe a 70/30 tap/RO to avoid too soft of water. Or maybe it doesn't matter and my fish will be fine and happy with my super hard water.). Thanks

If you would like to add ro water you can but a fish will adjust to any ph you put them in as long as they are acclimated right. What fish are you keeping though just to be sure.
