I'll be moving to the Dayton area in a few weeks (the Fairborn / Huber Heights side) and I'm wondering about the water quality. I currently use an RO+DI filter because my tap water often has high nitrates (40+ ppm) which is bad for my fish, and is very hard which is bad for my turtle. I won't have a good place to store my filtration stuff in my new apartment so I'm hoping that I won't need the filter in Dayton. Can anybody give me an idea about the water parameters there? I tried calling the Dayton Dept of Water and all they could tell me was that the parameters wouldn't be harmful to humans.

Thanks!
