I'm confused

I had 2 125gpd membraine running back to back which run 24-7 after 1 year of constant use the tds was 14ppm
I changed them as I think 1 year was a long time running all day
I swapped them for 150gpd units and the tds was 34 so I swapped them again for 100gpd units and it's now down to 22ppm still not as good as the old units

My psi is 65
My feed water is 342ppm

I don't use di as it gets killed fast even at 14ppm running 24-7

Is this normal for new membraine to have a higher tds for the first few days

I only know from mine sites that there is a settling period of maybe a week (this was 5 or 7 years ago), but unfortunately don't know any more.

Anyone else have any idea
It's been running no stop now for 24 hours and it's down to 20ppm

If it drops back down to what it was 14ppm I think I will be happy with that
So I probably didn't need to change the membrane but after one year of constant use it was probably a good idea
