temp kill ick???

Every bout of ick ive ever had (3 in two years due to new fish) has been treated with a gradual temp raise to 83-85 for approximately 5-7 days with increased o2 during that time. Works every time.
 
Cool you guys win if there were more smart people like yah ich would not be such a BIG problem .

If these are chemical free, Do you know what is the active ingredient that attacks the ick?
Also, are these products friendly against the good bacteria in the filter?

Yes they are chemical free, fish and good bacteria friendly as well.
I never need to use heat or salt, just toss it in (measured of course) and go on your normal day carefree.
