Tetra Gold Fish Flake Food

Label says its a balanced diet for gold fish but, would it hurt to feed it to tropical fish as well? I have a whole container of it that I don't want to waste but I no longer have any goldfish. I know my cichlids love it but I don't want to give it to any of my fish if it will harm them.

For the most part, goldfish food isn't all that great for even goldfish--tropical fish food is better for them. Unless it's basically tropical fish food repackaged as goldfish food. Save it for treats? It won't hurt, just not all that healthy/balanced.
