The BIGGEST Cory! - Aquarium Advice

I was just at PetCo, they only had one lone Emerald Cory. But man that thing was huge! Had to have been 3" at very least. Is this normal? I was going to get him but I figured he had seen better days, and I was short about a quarter, as I stopped in on a whim.

I was wondering;
What corydoras get the biggest? How big??

I have 2 green cories that are about 2.5".

thast around the normal size I think, I can't believe that the register person wouldn't bump ya a quarter lol

How old are they when they reach that length? What's the life expectancy?
I really like those green cories.

Mine's a year so far that I had them. Not sure the lifespan.
