The size of a pond snail?

One day I discovered a little pond snail in my tank. After I got used to the shock of having him there, he is now part of my tank. He has grown to one centimeter long (his shell) after only a month, so I was just wondering Will he keep growing at this pace? How big will he get?

Well, hes dead, so i guess it doesnt matter

The largest one I've have is at about 1/2", and I don't think they get any bigger than that..
