Things growing in Daphnia tank

Could someone please let me know what these are? They are growing on the walls of my Daphnia/Scud tank and close up like a saltwater coral when I touch them

Huh looks like that’s what it might be, researching on my lunch break from my phone though it doesn’t really look the same those sound much larger, maybe I have the start of a colony, do they tag along with plants or is it something that I “grew”? They seem harmless and more of a pest, guess I’ll add some snails to my culture tank to clean it up a little

Most likely arrived with the plants. I used to find patches of them in my pond filter.
At least they aren’t hydra.
