I have no personal experience with JDs but the last fish a purchased (flown overnight from a breeder in Hawaii) did not eat anything for 2 weeks after she arrived & sat in the corner the entire time. She has finally adjusted-last week she started to eat thankfully!!! I would give your guy a bit of time to adjust!
