Tiger Barb saved from bad tank.
Ok, I don't normally do this but a friend decided to get a few more fish for his tank some time ago. One was a green tiger barb. This tank had some other fish that did not get along with it. Mainly gourami. And got it's tail faily bitten up.
I've taken him into my own care and placed him in my 50G Tiger barb tank (Basically dedicated to Tiger Barbs) and he looks to be doing well, other then having some nipped fins he looks to be in good health. The tank is a faily planted 50G with all the good stuff. Tank peramiters are all good. Should he be fine in with the other tiger barbs. He's a little bigger really then the rest. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do for him other then put him a tank more suited to him. Thanks in advance. |

I agree. Give him some settling in time, and he should be perfect in no time.
