Yeah make sure you have at least 6 cory cats and 7 TBs and you may be able to put a gourami with them if bio load allows. I would try for panda or juli cory cats they do great in aggressive tanks. I'm no cory cat specialist but I know for sure their are many that can work

my TB's did nip at my gold gouramis, they have no beef with anyone else in the tank. i had to get those gouramis out or they would have been stressed to death.

Well I never said it would work most do fine ime. But hey every fish is different.

I have a 55 with 11 barbs( 5 tiger, 3 albino, and 3 green), red tail black shark ( I know some ppl wouldn't do this but some how it worked), and I dare say a Pink Female Convict aka Ms. Boss. They work well together but it didn't happen over night I had to arrange my tank to make distinct territories among each.

I've got 5 barbs in my 29g w/ an Angel. They have gotten along pretty well. I read that if you get at least 6 or more they will stay together and be less aggressive at fin nipping

how many TB's can you keep in a 10 gallon?

I actually think you can't,they are active swimmers and a 10 gallon is not very big, plus you need a decent shoal of tiger barbs,so do not think they are the best fish for a10 gallon

Yeah i am Rah thanks, ive put pics up of my planted tank, real plants and ive had comments to say a Betta will love it in my tank.
The reason i commented was cos sumone asked about Tigerbarbs in a 10 gallon,i researched them fish when i 1st got my 10 gallon and i read that it was a no go in that small a tank,i.do love tigerbarbs and one day i may think about doing a species only tank for them, but at the moment im happy with my 10 gall :)

i would say tigers can be kept in a community tank as mine are ok but only in big numbers. i have 12 at the moment if it gets less then 9 they tend to be aggressive to the other fish. so i would recommend atleas 10 tigers and just moinitor them and see how they get on

Well i am the OP i had 3 baby (less than 1 inch) TBs in my 10g. They are now in my community tank doing very well.
