Tigers and khulies?

Lost my cockatoo cichlid in my 25g and wanted to just add some a nice school of tigers since I've always liked them. Only other tank mates are a pleco and 3 loaches will they be ok together?
Im probably gonna get like 6 to 8 barbs and maybe 2 or 3 more loaches.

What do you guys think. I've see some tanks work but do you think it's worth trying?

I have 3 Barbs to 5 Kuhuli Loachs, the Barbs seem to Leave em alone. Never had a Problem. My Loaches have to be over 3 or 4 years old, and In there life span they shared a tank w/ Barbs is say 90% of the Time.

How many barbs could I put in a 25 gallon realistically speaking?

Any one be safe with 6 or can I do 8?
