Time release food capsules?

Does anyone have any opinions on these 3day shell shaped food release tabs? Gotta go for a few days and don't have an auto-feeder. Throw a few in and I should be good? Do plecos hog them?

Your fish will be fine without feeding, these things can clog filters and deteriorate water quality...two things you don't want to happen when your away!

Fish can easily go for 7-10 days without feeding, even longer in the dry season. Which is why only aquarium fish are fat, it's quite rare to see round bellies in the wild.

Interesting, I'm also concerned with my pink gourami becoming aggressive since I will be away 12 days
