Tire Track Eels
Just was curious what kind of fish get along well with them. How big a tank do they need? Any personal experiences? Thanks guys.

I had one a long time ago. He never really bothered anyone. I had a community tank with tetras and livebearers at the time. They usually hang on the bottom most of time, and will even burrow in the gravel. [acronym:dcff30f7e4="Hope this helps (or) Happy to help"]HTH[/acronym:dcff30f7e4]

They really don't bother any of the other fish. They need plenty of greenery to become active. For example: When I put a couple dense areas of plants in the tank, they started to come out more often during the day. They would actually hang from the greenery. But a majority of the time they will probably burrow. You will definately need a sand substrate. Smooth gravel works also, but they prefer sand.
