I am going to be upgrading to a 100+ gallon during my move to a new place. How should I go about doing this without harm to my fishies? I wont be moving more than a hour from my current place. I will have a friend setup the tank during my move.

I move everything in 5 gallon buckets and keeping everything wet. By keeping everything in water it should hold the bacteria on it, same goes for your fiters. Try to do everything somewhat quickly but safe

Agreed. Keep your filter media wet in tank water, and your substrate. You can use new water in the new tank, just make sure to dehlorinate. Check your parameters daily for a little while after the move just to make sure things stay good.

BTW.......totally jealous. Wish I was upgrading to a 100 gallon tank :)
