ok so heres whats up my grandad is getting to old to look after his 4ft tank and hes giving it to me. i currently have a small almost 2ft tank. his tank is very well cycled and he has some fish in it. its not planted and i dont like his gravel though.
my tank iv well stocked and i want to move my fish and gravel into his and ill buy more gravel of course.
my question is how do i go about this. i want to put his tank where mine is but im going to have to empty his tank out to move it to my house i guess i can put his fish in my tank for that part. but at some point im going to have to empty my tank out and move it so i can put his tank where mine is and ill have to fill his tank and let the heater do its work. what do i do with the fish during this time iv only got the two tanks avalable to me ?
i know i should be moving all my fish about like this but no real choice
