I am curious if anyone does this...

I didn't like dumping 15 gallons of water down the toilet weekly from my PWC's... I remember hearing that they use fish byproducts in fertilizer and what not. So, I have started using the water to water my tomato plants and flowers in the back. I have never seen my plants looking so healthy. My 1 tomato plant already has 30 to 40 tomatoes hanging off of it... That's one plant! I get compliments from all the neighbors on my roses and petunias in the front of our house.

Just an idea if you don't already do this :)

We do the same thing. Read about it in the Simple Guide to Freshwater Aquariums by David Boruchowitz.

We water the wifes garden and our Citrus tree. They are doing better than anyone elses stuff.

Why not, the water has fish waste and nitrate.

I do the same. When i clean out my tanks with the syphone i toss the water in the grass. it works well..... My Roses out Back are Huge.
