I'm sure a lot of you have seen these before, if not, they are cool, and most places sell them cheap because they are!! they are cheap and junky, but very entertaining!! now that i got my 55 gallon im having a lot of fun.

ok, everything on the internet is complicated and everyone wants money now... so since angelfire is obviously junk, nor do they have a built in page builder on their free web site stuff, try downloading it and then opening it...

2.06Mb

itd be pretty interesting to attach a camera to it.. i did that for a few of my r/c planes, thats always interesting.

how did you get it to work?

um, not sure where I got it, but the guy was very good, becuase the first one didnt work right, and he replaced it no questions asked! be carefull, and look at a few sites, cuz some people charge too much! like $80 for a 15$ sub...

or search yahoo! for mini rc submarine:

on the planes... i have an attach ment to my Tiger2 .46 that holds a picture camera... cheap 35mm with auto wind... we hooked up a serve to push the button, flip the 5th channel and click, you got a picture... its sweet!!! dont use it much since i busted the wing, but it works very well!!!

That's incredible... Now I've gotta buy new toys. LOL One of the subs, and now I see the electric RC helicopters have really advanced (the last time I looked you either had the choice of expensive gas or an electric that just went up and down). More money to spend. *sigh*

Cute toy, but more for bathtub use, since it would stress most fish, and with many of my fish, they would simply 'kill' it.

Would it stress larger fish? Cichlids, plecos, birchir?

Probably, but knowing my larger bichirs and cichlids, they would probably tear it apart.

cool cool cool,
I thought fish were stupid, wont they think its just a big fish??

I doubt it...it will not smell like one, and the vibrations created by its motors will be very loud and alien underwater.

maybe i'll buy a tank just for a fleet of rc submarines. I could keep it only 3/4 full and have docks built with rc boats too and maybe an rc scuba diver....

ha ha, my fish just scatter, and I dont chase them with it... they go low, in rock, and in corners, and I play in the wide open spaces... my tetras checked it out, but didn't try to swim with, or get too close.

honestly I dont use it much, as the fish tank isn't really for my r/c toy, but every now and then its cool.

by the way.... havent you ever seen a guy bump in to a lamp post? he just thought is was a hot chick... lol, it happens to the less inteligent....

When I get an RC sub, it will be a 30"-48" replica of Disney's interpretation of Verne's Nautilus....with a radio range of at least 200 meters....nothing that could ever go in a tank.

i know but other fish make vibrations too! i know not the same sort, but would the fish be aware? what if you had a huge tank like the one on http://membres.lycos.fr/lafuitedebretx/photoalbum9.html then would it be ok, sorry that site is in french, I can read french, its got pictures :D

Tres fantastique! The vibrations would be less bothersome in a larger tank, but would be very different and much stronger than those made by any fish.
