Now that I think of it, I am worried if getting the mystery snail was a mistake,
More I read about it, it seems they are heavy plant eaters. If so, they have no place in my tank as it is going to be heavily planted soon,

Do I have an option to move it in my 3 gallon tank with the betta ??

they tend to only be plant eaters if you dont feed them enough, the one good thing is they do also eat DEAD plant matter so it will be much easier for them to eat then to clean up. Just make sure you have something good for them to eat such as the sinking wafers or something else that you might think it will like...lol. Good luck!

it depends if you got a pomacea bridgesii or a pomacea canaliculata. the former does not eat plants, the latter does. chances are you have a bridge, so your plants should be ok. however if you are noticing holes, and have no other potential culprits (plecos, silver dollars etc), you might want to take another look at your snail.
