I heard/read one time only that when refilling our tanks we should make sure it's not filled with so many little bubbles that the fish have them all over themselves. Causes some sort of damage. Is this real and what sort of harm would they cause?

Hi FishyMamma:

I've never heard that before, and I can't imagine what harm it could cause our fish.

Fis...

This is trapped oxygen from the pressure of the water going though the pipes and into a container. The bubbles apparently attach to rough areas on the container. The bubbles can be a problem for your fish if they ingest one. If you make the replacement water at bit warmer and stir the water as it comes out of the tap, it will reduce the bubbles.

Easy peazee.
