Looks really great. And I LOVE the stand and canopy.

Are those live plants or plastic ones?
We have plastic plants at this point. After we have had the tank established for a while we will start looking into getting some real ones.

I know you said that you seeded your filter from another tank but, how long did this run before adding fish or did you basically just add the fish with the biospira and hoped everything lived? I am curious because I am thinking about just buying several fish and adding the biospira to cycle the tank.

We started the tank all on the same day. i know we were supposed to wait longer, but I was very concerned with losing any of the bacteria we had. I moved the driftwood (from LFS), the rocks and fake plants (and extra filter) from the 29g, moved the fish over from the 29g and added bio-spira. tank cycled completely (oh, and added 16 more fish) in less than a week.

Ok, thanks, I am thinking about trying that it is just going to depend on how expensive the biospira for FW tanks is. I know when I bought it for my SW tank it was around $55 and it didn't work and all of my fish died.
