Does anyone have experience with weather loaches and nerite snails? I realize that loaches are known for their snail hunting abilities, but my weathers do not seem to bother with the trumpet snails in their tank. If people have had bad experiences (i.e. weathers pestering/trying to eat nerites), then I will forget about this idea! Also, through my research, I have yet to find an algae eating fish that would thrive and be happy in a cool water tank...anyone know different? Thanks!!

If you have strong filtration a hillstream loach is something to consider

Filtration is strong on one end of the tank (XP3 with a power bar and a sponge filter) and a little less current on the other (XP3 with power bar only - we are trying to make both the barbs and the weathers happy, current-wise!). I'll do a little research on hillstream loaches, see what I can learn about them!

Thanks!
