Just googled it I think ur right few questions how to get read of it how did it come from nowhere (did it fall off my algae ball) will it just be eaten by things in my tank

yes, marimo moss balls are cladophora algae.

Pretty much. It kinda just does it's own thing, it can be a little hard to get rid of, but it grows slowly.
