weird beta?!?!?!?
can anyone tell me what this means? also he seems to be losing scales right over his left eye, the levels are alright in the tank, just a bit(like 20ppm)of no3, it started the day after i got him.

are u asking about the loss of scales or his gills sticking out? in that pic he is flaring which they do to makes themselves look scarier when they are scared or intimadated. as for the scales it looks like he has bumped his head. do u have any sharp rocks or rough ornaments? get some slime coat medicine to help with the healing.

yeah they seem to be getting brighter though, but he came looking exactly the way he does in the avatar pic.....
that was the day i got him......
