My tank has been up and running fishless for nearly 5 days now, and I just began the procedure for a fishless cycle today. I noticed that there are a few bubbles (not many) of a brownish color floating near the edge of the tank in one spot, and around the heater. Is this something I should worry about? Have any of you ever seen anything like this? Is this just newbie paranoia?
I just want to make sure I have a safe home for my fish. Thanks in advance for your help.
