Weird Fungus-like growth - id please? - Aquarium Advice

This stuff has been growing in patches on my gravel for the past few weeks. I gravel vac all of it up that I can see, and it just keeps coming back. I'm fairly sure it's not food or anything left considering I don't feed flake to my tank, but I've never seen anything like this in 2+ years. My fish don't seem to be affected by it, and all water tests turn up normal and ideal. Any ideas?

It certainly looks like some kind of fungus.
Do you feed fresh veggies or sinking wafers that may be pushed to that spot by the filter curtrent??

Whatever it is, just keep vacuuming it up. When it's nutrient supply is exhausted, it will stop coming back.
