Still haven't decided what I'm going to put in the 20 long I'm about to set up. Thought about Amano Shrimp instead of Cories for bottom feeders/dwellers because they have a much lower bioload. Then I could have more mid level dwellers. I'll probably have Lemon Tetras or possibly Dwarf Neon Rainbows in the tank. Will those go with Amano Shrimp?

Amanos are big than dwarf shrimps and won't reproduce in fresh water so no danger of babies being eaten by fish. You will be fine with small fish. Of course no cichlids. Lemon tertas or dwarf rainbows will be fine.

OK thanks. Petco has what they label as Japanese Algae Eating Shrimp. This is the same thing as Amano Shrimp right?
