what are some ways on helping a fish to adult size?

what are some ways on helping a fish to adult size and how can i go about doing them?

10 gallon- aggressive with 1 blue texas cichlid
10 gallon-small feeder fish tank with cold/brackish water conditions
20 gallon-full to extremely aggressive with 3 covict cichlids

55 gallon-fully aggressive tank with 2 jack dempsey cichlids,1
jewel cichlid, 1 albino oscar and a large very aggressive red oscar
1 betta bowl-peacefull with 1 male betta
1 large betta bowl-peacefull with 1 crown tail betta

Keep a good aquarium (heat, water changes, [acronym:10f6cc9efb="power head or Measure of the concentration of hydrogen ions, depending on context"]ph[/acronym:10f6cc9efb], etc.) and feed a varied diet. Thats it, no secret pill.

The only thing I would add is make sure that it is the appropriate size aquarium for the type of fish.

I'm with tony.... keep a good aquarium. Water quality may be the most key to ensure a fish lives long enough to reach a mature size. Only after a stable water quality is obtained can you help it reach the mature size. Face it, a juvenile fish in poor water quality will never (unless it's very hardy) live long enough to reach full size, no matter how hard you try. There's no such thing as Miracle-Gro for fish, as far as I know.

BEEF HEART! that stuff is like fish steroids! I feed it once a week to my convict cichlids and they are huge now.
