I am back from vacation and have noticed a multitude of little grey tubes (looks like miniature bird droppings) on the tops of some of the larger rocks. And there are small red worms in them. There are more of these worms that appear to be feeding on a piece of shrimp I left in the tank in my absence to continue the cycling. Does anyone know what they are? Is this a problem? Where did they come from? Any other info is greatly appreciated.

The tank:
75 planted fresh - no fish yet. At least one snail present - must have hitch hiked on plants (water sprite java moss) from the LFS - been cycling since 3/15 @ 85 degrees w/ airstone
