What conditioner do you use?

I tried 4 brands that would not even begin to detox my city tap, prime was it..

What toxins do you check your tap water for?

I tested everything in API kit, ammonia was out if control high, my Lfs told me chloramines can/will test under no3/4 so either way it was less than ideal for my tank.

I use Tetra Water conditioner and I have never have any problems Its also a lower cost dechlorinator.

You mean to add it now after a change yesterday or is it ok to add to the tank after adding water? I mix and age mine before adding but would personally add it to the tank before adding water if thats what you mean. If you added it quickly and dosed the whole tank i wouldnt think it would cause too many problems though.

My ammonia and nitrites rose to .25 ppm and i think my tank might be cycling again
