what else should i get in the tank?

i have 8 tetras, 2 corys, 2 mollys, 1 red tail shark, and 1 algea eater in a 55 gallon tank any advice on additions.

I would recommend adding some more cories, 4-6 total. What kind of fish do you like? You could do another couple schools of tetras, a pair of angels, a couple pairs of something like rams or apistos... there are tons of options. Often, it is easier if you post the types of fish you're interested in, and we narrow down the list.

well i am going to get a african butterfly fish soon so that eliminates cichlids and angel fish, i like cories mollys tetras i love barbs but they are to aggresive, i like sharks and most exotic fish.

Well there is this fish called a Kerri tetra that is quite exotic here ill post a picture, you could add a school of these to your tank.

Red tailed sharks are known to be aggressive when they're older.

what kind of algae eater? If its a common pleco he'll outgrow that tank.

it's a chinese algea eater
