what fish for 30g

Hi all what fish can i put in my 30g planted tank with my ctenopoma acutirostre (spotted climbing perch) he is a peaceful predator only about 2 inches at the minute but may grow between 4 and 6 i was after some bottom dwellers that arent totally nocturnal and some shoalers there are 4 guppys in there at the minute that are 3 month old. They were feeders but are too big now. i cant have a large number of any fish really but on a similar note cant have little fish that will get ate

Any suggestions are appreciated im relly stumped. I can have anythin to aggressive that will put my perch into hiding.

Cory cats should be alright for bottom feeders, a group of 5-6 would be good. Maybe a pair or trio of butterfly fish? They're surface swimmers, but not likely to bother anything too big to eat.
