What fish species is this?

There is 75 gallon tank where I work, and some new fish were added this week. The "fish guy" called it a pike, but there's no way it is. Anyone have any idea what this bad boy is? He's the long slender one with the side spot.

Coralbadit is right. It's a young Venezuela pike cichlid.
