what fish? what filter?

I have a pink convict and it lives in a small breeding box. Well, that's a gift from my cousin. He didn't know that pick convict cannot stay in the same tank with TROPICAL FISH. One night, the convict jump out from the bredding box and bite my tiger bard to dead. aiii.... i was so sad and mad!
Anyways, i bought a 10 gal tank for the convict. i was wondering what kind of fish can stay in the same tank with the convict?
what kind of filter should i use?
do i need to put gravel in the tank?

Pink convicts are really agressive fish that can distroy any freshwater aquarium. My suggestion is to go to the following website and this will show you a compatibility chart which can help you a lot. As for gravel, you can get any form of gravel. If you are going to have live plants, let me know since that my change. As for a filter for a 10 Gallon, I would suggest a whisper or a small bio-Wheel.
